What is Project Symphony?

To advance us further along our journey to excellence at Integer Holdings Corporation, we are launching Symphony, a program that will implement an updated enterprise resource planning (ERP) system and establish enterprise-wide standard processes and structure. This includes ensuring Symphony directly enables the Integer Production System, including elements such as the production monitoring and improvement process, sales, inventory, and operations planning. The program will effect change across the company, which will have a direct impact on optimizing business processes, enhancing operational efficiency, and positioning Integer for continued success. Symphony is about having the right business processes in place supported by a single, modern, integrated ERP platform.

What you’ll do in this role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Integrated Business Planning (IBP) Architect with deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA to join our ERP Center of Excellence (CoE). This role will play a pivotal part in the implementation of SAP and provide ongoing support and optimization of the platform post go-live. The ideal candidate will bring strong functional knowledge of PLM and IBP processes, architectural design capabilities, and a strategic mindset to help shape the future of our ERP landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, configure and implement PLM using SAP S/4HANA aligned with business goals and industry best practices.
  • Primary point of contact for IBP, with ability to make configuration changes, as required.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable PLM and IBP solutions.
  • Strong understanding of discrete manufacturing and make-to-order processes.
  • Strong understanding of Engineering Record (EC), Change Record (CR), Portfolio Management, Basic Material Master (MM)
  • Support BOMs, Item Master, Change Management, and Workflow configuration
  • Define integration strategies between SAP PLM and systems like SAP S/4HANA, CAD, PDM, and MES.
  • Define master data requirements for a robust PLM and IBP.
  • Provide technical leadership during PLM and IBP implementations, upgrades, and migrations.
  • Provide technical specifications for integrations to/from PLM and IBP.
  • Provide expert guidance on PLM and IBP analytics, compliance, and continuous improvement.
  • Assist with scoping prospective changes and advising business and ERP/IT leadership.
  • Experience in project cutover, go-live, and hyper-care support.
  • Data Management activities: Data Extraction, Cleansing, Mapping, Migration, and Reconciliation.
  • Ensure solutions adhere to internal controls, SOX compliance, and audit standards.
  • Ensure seamless integration with other SAP modules and external systems.
  • Maintain documentation of configurations, processes, and change management, using Signavio, SAP Cloud ALM and similar tools.
  • Build trust with various business leaders, including R&D, Quality, Commercial and Supply Chain leaders and business process owners and provide thought leadership.
  • Collaborative, empathetic, and committed to sharing ideas and knowledge to cross-functional teams, project team members and delivery partners.
  • Support change management and training initiatives to ensure user adoption.
  • Mentor and provide technical leadership to SAP project teams, consultants, and offshore delivery partners.
  • Assess updates in PLM, IBP and related modules and recommend improvements for efficiency and automation.

What sets you apart:

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Experience:
    • 8+ years of experience in SAP PLM, with at least 3 years in S/4HANA Materials Management architecture and implementation. At least two full-cycle SAP PLM implementations in an architect or lead role. Proven experience with SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud.
    • Proven track record in large-scale ERP implementations, preferably in a global environment.
    • Experience with Engineering Record (EC), Change Record (CR), Portfolio Management, Basic Material Master (MM).
    • Medical Device industry experience is a plus.
  • Skills:
    • Strong understanding of procurement business processes and how they translate into SAP solutions.
    • Strong understanding of Product Lifecycle and related analytics processes.
    • Good Understanding of BOM, SAP Item Master and Intercompany Transactions.
    • Strong understanding of CAD applications and its working with SAP PLM.
    • Hands-on experience in configuration of SAP Materials Management for PLM, IBP and material master data.
    • Skilled in data extraction, cleansing, mapping, migration, and reconciliation.
    • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative, and evolving environment.
    • Experience with SAP Fiori, SimpleMDG, OneSource, WalkMe, OpenText, Cloud ALM, Signavio, Tricentis is a plus.
    • Knowledge of SAP Activate Methodologies in a Plus.
    • Certifications in SAP, preferably in PLM and IBP, is a plus.

Travel

  • This position may require 30% or more of your time traveling domestically and internationally to Integer manufacturing sites, customer sites, and supplier sites, as required.
  • As such, you have a current passport and can secure appropriate visas, as required, for travel to international locations as specified.
