Job Description

About the Role
As a Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing integration solutions that connect systems, applications, and data across the enterprise for our Retail, Small, Medium and Enterprise Business Systems.

Leading the architecture and strategy for seamless data flow and interoperability between internal and external platforms, ensuring scalability, security, and performance. Your role is pivotal in enabling digital transformation and operational efficiency through robust integration frameworks and technologies.

You are expected to champion the transformation of integration architecture into a strategic enabler of enterprise agility, resilience, and innovation. By embedding integration as a core capability across the organization, you will ensure that systems, data, and processes work in harmony to support evolving business needs.

You will position integration at the heart of transformation, empowering teams to deliver seamless customer experiences, unlock operational efficiencies, and accelerate time-to-value through connected technologies.

About You
You bring a wealth of experience and a strategic mindset, with the confidence to operate at the intersection of business and technology. You have a strong background in architecture or related roles, with a proven track record of designing and delivering scalable, enterprise-grade solutions. Your experience includes working on large-scale digital transformation or system modernisation programmes, where you’ve successfully balanced immediate needs with long-term strategic goals.

You should be an excellent communicator and collaborator, able to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels. You can translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable strategies that drive business value. With a deep understanding of enterprise integration patterns—such as ESB, pub/sub, point-to-point, and hub-and-spoke—you are able to design robust, secure, and efficient architectures. You also bring a solid grounding in security protocols and best practices, including OAuth, SAML, and encryption, ensuring data is protected across integrations.

Your technical expertise spans APIs (REST and SOAP), microservices, and event-driven architectures, alongside proficiency in data formats and protocols such as JSON, XML, HTTP, and AMQP. You are comfortable working with cloud platforms like Azure and have experience across hybrid integration scenarios. You’re also familiar with DevOps principles and CI/CD pipelines, enabling efficient and reliable deployment of integration solutions.

In addition, you have strong domain knowledge in KYC, KYB, and AML technologies, particularly within Small and Medium Business operating models. You are adept at evaluating and recommending tools, platforms, and frameworks based on both business and technical requirements. Detail-oriented and quality-focused, you bring a problem-solving mindset and a collaborative, adaptable approach—thriving in fast-paced environments where systems thinking and continuous improvement are key.
