Senior Solutions Architect – Secure Networking

The Senior Solutions Architect is a subject matter expert who engages with clients and collaborates with internal stakeholders to design innovative solutions, define transformation strategies, and establish the architectural vision for complex client environments.

Adopting a consultative approach, you deliver services across the full spectrum of Campus, Cloud, and Datacenter infrastructure solutions, ensuring alignment with client objectives and business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with clients to understand business requirements, perform analysis, and drive problem resolution.
• Operate across enterprise architecture layers and the broader value chain to design cohesive, integrated solutions.
• Proactively identify and develop opportunities for value-added consultancy engagements.
• Evaluate and define optimal solution architectures, assessing trade-offs across cost, performance, and scalability.
• Review and validate solution designs, ensuring alignment with specifications, standards, and best practices.
• Recommend and contribute to the development of new go-to-market solutions, leveraging industry and vertical expertise.
• Continuously analyse external trends to identify and assess emerging technologies.
• Contribute to the development of use cases across business, infrastructure, and functional domains.

Knowledge and Attributes:

• Demonstrates strong verbal and written communication skills, complemented by excellent interpersonal abilities to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Develops and applies advanced specialist knowledge of reference architectures to support solution design.
• Maintains up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and emerging technologies, including AI-driven networking, Infrastructure as Code, Zero Trust, and Secure Access Service Edge (SASE).
• Collaborates effectively with cross-functional teams, including sales, product management, and service delivery.
• Possesses a solid understanding of key concepts and strategic positioning of leading vendors within the networking domain

Academic Qualifications and Certifications:

• Holds a bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in computer science, engineering, business, or a related discipline.
• Possesses certification and practical knowledge of enterprise architecture and IT service management frameworks, such as TOGAF, Zachman, SOA, ITIL, and COBIT.

Required Experience

• Demonstrates advanced experience in client engagement and consulting, with a strong capability in assessing and translating client requirements into effective solutions.
• Possesses extensive experience in integrating solutions within the broader business context, aligning with enterprise architecture, industry standards, and established best practices.
• Proven track record in the end-to-end lifecycle of solution development, including design, positioning, sales, and delivery.
• Fluent in English with proficiency in Dutch.
