Reed Talent Solutions are hiring in  Northampton! 

We're looking to recruit a Onboarding Specialist to join our Angard Staffing department and support our Service Delivery Team! 

The Angard Staffing Recruitment Team are the team at the very start of a candidate’s journey to working for The Royal Mail Group!   

The team will work with a high volume of applications that have applied to work at The Royal Mail Distribution Centres, Mail Centres and Delivery Offices up and down the United Kingdom. 

This is a full-time role (37.5 hours per week) working 5 out of 7 days on a rota basis, including early, late, and weekend shifts. 

This is a fixed term contract until December 2026. 

What is an Onboarding Specialist?

As an Onboarding Specialist, you will be working as part of our candidate onboarding team, supporting candidates whilst they go through vetting before starting work with the Royal Mail Group. 

This is a structured and process-driven role, which will involve working to targets and SLAs as per our client agreements  

The Angard Onboarding Specialist should become an expert in understanding their client requirements such that they can ensure there is a sufficient deployable pool of high calibre candidates available. 

What you’ll be doing 

  • Creating and issuing offer letters and issuing screening link to begin pre- employment checks  

  • Checking right to work documentation  

  • Guiding candidates through onboarding processes from screening to offer accepted  

  • Updating multiple internal systems  

What are we looking for?

  • Demonstrable experience in a customer service environment  

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written  

  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team  

  • High level of computer literacy, particularly with MS Office  

  • Confident, proactive, and committed to delivering outstanding service
