Implementation Specialist

Base. is a leading e-commerce platform with over 20 years of experience, originally from Eastern Europe.

It stands out for its strong ability to adapt to client needs, automate internal processes, and act as a central hub and key solution for e-commerce businesses.

This position is open to support the growth of the Base France team.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the implementation of new clients on Base., from kick-off to operational launch.
  • Configure and set up Base. according to client needs, including:
    • product workflows (management, enrichment, publishing),
    • order workflows (business rules, automations, synchronizations).
  • Design and implement custom solutions with a strong focus on complex system architecture and advanced configurations.
  • Demonstrate a strong technical mindset and ability to understand and structure complex systems (basic coding knowledge is a plus).
  • Support the setup of external integrations (ERP, PIM, CMS, marketplaces, carriers, payment solutions…), including:
    • data exchange setup,
    • business mappings,
    • integration testing and functional validation.
  • Provide ongoing client support, acting as the technical and functional point of contact during the project and after deployment.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Customer Success teams to support the technical sales cycle.
  • Work with Product and Tech teams to relay client needs and contribute to the evolution of Base.
  • Document, optimize, and standardize implementation processes.


Technical Skills

  • Knowledge of E-commerce / ERP / logistics / SaaS environments.
  • Strong experience and capability in system integration.
  • Strong technical mindset with the ability to design and understand complex architectures (coding knowledge is a plus).

Project Skills

  • Experience in project management (scoping, coordination, follow-up).
  • End-to-end project management: scoping, execution, development, deployment.

Interpersonal Skills

  • Comfortable in a client-facing role, with strong communication and teaching abilities.
  • Willingness and ability to work directly with clients on-site (including travel to client offices and warehouses for system setup).
  • Solution-oriented mindset, pragmatic, able to quickly identify resolution paths.
