You know D365 F&O OTC the way a can of WD-40 knows friction — not just where it shows up, but what's causing it underneath, and exactly what it takes to get things moving again. You've configured it, stress-tested it, and handed it over to commercial and operations teams who actually rely on it every day. If that's the environment where you do your best work, WD-40 Company has a role worth your attention.

The Role

WD-40 Company has completed significant D365 F&O rollouts across multiple global markets — UK, Europe, Latin America, and Asia-Pacific — and is operating a live global OTC environment that spans those markets every day. This role is about making that environment better. You'll own the OTC enhancements backlog, resolve configuration issues that surface in production, and assess and deliver new D365 OTC functionality as Microsoft continues to evolve the platform.

You'll work as a genuine partner to the OTC Business Process Lead — they define what the business needs, you make D365 deliver it. That means triaging enhancement requests, diagnosing OTC configuration issues, translating commercial and operations requirements into scalable D365 solutions, and keeping global teams productive and confident in the system they rely on.

The live global OTC environment spans multiple markets, each with its own pricing structures, tax treatment, regulatory requirements, and commercial nuances. Keeping that environment consistent, compliant, and improving across those markets is the day-to-day reality of this role. Future implementation work across new markets is planned as the programme evolves — but right now, the priority is the backlog and the live environment.

Responsibilities

  • Own the OTC enhancements backlog — triage incoming requests, assess configuration impact, prioritise with the OTC Business Process Lead, build and test solutions, and close them out cleanly.
  • Diagnose and resolve OTC configuration issues surfacing in the live global D365 environment — sales order management, pricing and trade agreements, rebate management, AR, EDI transaction flows, and related integrations.
  • Partner with the OTC Business Process Lead to translate business requirements into D365 OTC configurations. You own the how; they own the what.
  • Assess new D365 OTC functionality released in Microsoft updates — evaluate relevance to WD-40's environment, test in non-production, and recommend adoption where it adds value.
  • Configure and validate OTC modules — sales order management, pricing engines, trade agreement journals, rebate management, customer portals, AR, and related integrations — for enhancements and fixes across global markets.
  • Maintain and improve OTC configurations across global markets — localisation, tax treatment, EDI transaction handling, and regulatory compliance are ongoing responsibilities in a live multi-country environment.
  • Work with the enterprise architect and technical teams on integration design and standards where enhancements touch system boundaries.
  • Contribute to agile planning cycles — keep your workstream visible, documented, and on track.
  • Support future implementation phases as the global programme evolves — your knowledge of the live OTC environment will be a genuine asset when new markets come online.

Qualifications

  • Deep, hands-on D365 F&O OTC configuration experience — in a live global environment, not just a greenfield build. You know how to diagnose what's wrong and improve what's already running. 5+ years.
  • Proven capability
