We're now looking for a German-speaking Customer Success Manager to join our Barcelona team and own the relationship with our German-speaking clients. πŸš€

Your mission:

You'll be the strategic partner our German clients rely on. Not a support role - a business partner role. Your job is to make sure they get real, measurable value from Spendesk, stay with us, and grow with us.

What you'll do:

🀝 Own your client relationships

  • Build strong, trusted partnerships with Finance Managers, CFOs and key decision-makers across the German market

  • Proactively advise clients on best practices and platform optimisation - anticipate their needs before they even ask

  • Drive adoption and ensure every client gets the most out of Spendesk from day one

πŸ“ˆ Protect and grow revenue

  • Monitor account health and act early to mitigate churn risk

  • Identify expansion and upsell opportunities and work hand-in-hand with Sales to convert them

  • Maintain high NPS and customer satisfaction across your portfolio

πŸ”Š Be the voice of your customers internally

  • Relay structured feedback to Product and Marketing teams

  • Contribute to the launch of new features to relevant customer segments

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing and Product

What we're looking for

βœ… Must-have

  • πŸ‡©πŸ‡ͺ Fluent German - native or C2 level (non-negotiable for this role)

  • πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§ Professional English - working proficiency

  • A genuinely consultative mindset: you advise, anticipate and add value - you don't just answer tickets

  • Ability to manage a client portfolio independently with strong ownership

  • Analytical thinking: you use data to spot risks and opportunities early

  • Passion for customer experience and long-term relationship building

⭐ Strong plus

  • Background in Finance, Accounting, Fintech, ERP or SaaS- if you speak the language of finance teams, you'll hit the ground running

  • 1 to 3 years of experience in a customer-facing role (CSM, Account Management, Financial Advisory...) - strong apprenticeship profiles welcome
