Job Description

As our new Supply Chain Onboarding Specialist, you will be the first and most critical guide for our new customers. You're not just setting up software; you're setting the foundation for a successful, long-term partnership. You will be the expert who translates the customer's unique supply chain challenges into a powerful, automated solution within Optiply. Your goal is to ensure every new customer has a seamless, insightful, and empowering onboarding experience. You will remove technical barriers by personally handling the heavy lifting of data integration, helping customers reach their "Aha!" moment as quickly as possible.

This is what you'll be doing

  • Lead the Charge: Own the entire onboarding journey for new customers, from the post-sales handover to their successful go-live.
  • Be the Expert: Dive deep into our customers' businesses. You'll analyze their current inventory management processes and data structures, understand their goals, and then personally handle the data configuration and platform setup to meet their specific needs.Educate and Empower: Lead personalized training sessions (mostly remote) for key users, from purchasers to CEOs. You'll teach them not just how to use Optiply, but how to think with Optiply to master their inventory.
  • Own the Data Migration: Act as a data concierge for new customers. You'll take a hands-on, "do it for you" approach to transform, clean, and migrate customer inventory data to ensure a fast and successful launch.
  • Problem-Solve: Act as the main point of contact during the crucial initial months, proactively identifying potential issues, troubleshooting data integrations, and providing best-practice solutions.
  • Bridge the Gap: Collaborate closely with our Sales team to ensure smooth customer handovers and with our Product team to relay valuable customer feedback that will shape the future of Optiply.
  • Build the Future: Continuously refine and improve our onboarding processes, documentation, and training materials to make the experience even better for the next wave of customers.
  • Engage On-Site: Travel to new client locations when needed to lead critical kickoff meetings, build strong foundational relationships, and ensure a seamless, hands-on implementation.


This is who we’re looking for

You are a natural teacher and a structured problem-solver with a passion for both technology and supply chain. You thrive on helping others succeed and get a genuine thrill from seeing a complex process click into place.

What you bring to the table:

  • Supply Chain: 2+ years of hands-on experience in a supply chain role (e.g., Buyer, Demand Planner, Inventory Manager, Supply Chain Analyst). You understand concepts like lead times, safety stock, forecasting, and purchase orders from real-world experience.
  • Tech Savviness: You are comfortable with software and technology, and you enjoy learning new systems. You can explain technical concepts in a simple, clear way.
  • Exceptional Communicator: You possess excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (Dutch is a huge plus!). You are patient, empathetic, and skilled at building rapport with customers.
  • Project Management Skills: You are highly organized, can manage multiple onboarding projects simultaneously, and have a keen eye for detail.
  • Customer-First Mindset: You are driven by customer satisfaction and are proactive in ensuring their success.

Bonus points if you have:
  • Experience in a SaaS company, especially in an onboarding, implementation, or customer success role.
  • Experience with ERP or WMS systems (e.g., SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, Exact, Odoo, Picqer).
  • Experience in the e-commerce or wholesale industry.
