This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Solutions Architect (Insurance) in Germany.

This role offers the opportunity to shape cloud-based insurance solutions in a fast-growing, international environment. You will engage directly with enterprise clients to understand their business needs, design scalable and high-performance architectures, and support implementation initiatives. The position emphasizes creativity and technical expertise, leveraging cloud platforms such as AWS and GCP, APIs, microservices, and low-code/no-code solutions. You will collaborate closely with product and delivery teams, ensuring solutions align with client requirements while exploring innovative approaches. The role provides exposure to multiple lines of insurance business, enabling you to deliver tangible impact while working in a fully remote, globally distributed team.

Accountabilities

  • Engage with clients to assess requirements and provide tailored solution architectures.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers and Delivery Managers to align solution designs with business goals.
  • Oversee solution deployment and ensure implementations meet client expectations and quality standards.
  • Identify and recommend off-the-shelf components, open-source tools, and cloud services to optimize solutions.
  • Maintain awareness of emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance solution offerings.
  • Provide ongoing client support and guidance throughout the implementation process.
  • Document architectures, business cases, and solution strategies for internal and client stakeholders.

  • 6+ years of professional experience in solution architecture design and delivery, ideally within the insurance sector.
  • Strong background in delivering cloud-based solutions (AWS, GCP) with high availability and scalability.
  • Experience in relational databases, NoSQL environments, APIs, microservices, and enterprise architecture patterns.
  • Ability to translate client requirements into actionable solution designs and product roadmaps.
  • Familiarity with low-code/no-code platforms and authentication/authorization concepts (SSO, SAML, identity federation).
  • Excellent communication, relationship management, and stakeholder engagement skills across all organizational levels.
  • Analytical and problem-solving capabilities with experience building solution documents and business cases.
  • Certifications in architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman) or cloud platforms are a strong advantage.
  • Proficiency in English, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
