Accounts & Cash Management

Our vision is to design, build and operate high quality cash management services that are easy to use for our customers. Our accounts, cash pooling, and virtual cash management products give customers the opportunity to concentrate cash in one location, to combine cash flows across accounts in different entities, geographies, and currencies, to optimise interest, and to avoid idle cash.

The team

You will be joining an experienced team of 40 Enterprise, Domain, and Solution Architects that work closely together with business and technology colleagues. The team is primarily based in Amsterdam. As a solution architect Accounts & Cash Management, you will work exclusively for the Accounts & Cash Management area within Wholesale Banking Transaction Services.

Roles and responsibilities

As an ACM Architect you:

  • Create the solution architecture and technical design for new features
  • Guide and support the development squads during the implementation of the new features
  • Promote the technical standards and guidelines for the area
  • Review deliverables of the squads to ensure conformance with the technical standards and guidelines
  • Contribute (and adhere) to the target architecture of the domain under the guidance of the Domain Architect
  • Develop and maintain relevant architectural artifacts, including (technical) application architectures, architecture decisions, roadmaps, data models, and other relevant documentation
  • Make sure our applications are reliable, available, and resilient
  • Manage stakeholders across multiple departments in various countries

  • You have at least 3 years of experience as an architect
  • You are proficient in modelling and modelling languages (UML, Archimate)
  • Knowledge of and experience with application integration (Apache Camel, Spring Boot Integration)
  • Strong technical knowledge about public cloud, cloud native applications, and associated technologies like Kubernetes and KAFKA
  • Preferably have knowledge of SAP/SAP Fioneer modules for payments, cash management and virtual account management, like SAP Banking Services, Payment Central, SAP Fioneer Transactional Banking
  • Preferably have knowledge of cash management products (cash pooling, virtual bank accounts)
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex technical topics to various audiences.
  • Ability to develop strong and collaborative partnerships with organizational leaders.
  • Knowledge of and experience with IT architecture methodologies, processes (e.g., TOGAF), service management processes and an agile way of working.
