Role: Solutions Architect - Azure

Consulting Seniority: Consultant - Manager

Day rate: £300-£420/day (Outside IR35)

Project duration: 3-6 months (extension is possible)

Location: Remote with occasional on-site in London

We’re looking for a Solutions Architect with strong Azure expertise to design and deliver scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions. You’ll partner with stakeholders to understand business needs, create technical architectures, and guide delivery teams through implementation.

Tasks

• Design end-to-end cloud architectures leveraging Microsoft Azure services
• Translate business requirements into secure, scalable, and cost-efficient solutions
• Provide technical leadership to development and operations teams
• Support cloud migration and integration projects
• Ensure best practices in security, governance, and performance optimisation

Requirements

• An independent consultant
• Proven experience as a Solutions Architect or senior technical role
• Strong hands-on expertise with Microsoft Azure (e.g., Azure AD, AKS, Functions, Cosmos DB, Logic Apps)
• Solid understanding of networking, identity, and security in cloud environments
• Familiar with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates)
• Knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
• Excellent problem-solving and stakeholder engagement skills
