We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to support the successful rollout of SAP SuccessFactors as part of our HR transformation program. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, integrating, and overseeing the implementation of scalable HR technology solutions aligned with business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end solution architecture for the SAP SuccessFactors rollout, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and HR strategy.
- Collaborate with HR, IT, and implementation partners to define technical and functional requirements.
- Design integration strategies between SuccessFactors and other enterprise systems (e.g., SAP ECC/S4HANA, payroll, identity management).
- Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance across all HR systems and interfaces.
- Provide architectural governance and review of configuration, custom development, and third-party integrations.
- Support testing, cutover planning, and go-live activities.
- Act as a technical advisor to stakeholders, providing guidance on best practices and emerging trends in HR technology.
Qualifications
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
- TOGAF
- CISSP or Cyber Essentials an advantage
- Cloud certifications an advantage
Essential skills
- Proven experience as a Solution Architect in large-scale SAP SuccessFactors implementations.
- Deep understanding of SuccessFactors modules (e.g., Employee Central, Recruiting, Performance & Goals, Learning).
- Strong knowledge of HR business processes and data models.
- Experience with SAP integration technologies (e.g., SAP CPI, PI/PO, APIs).
- Familiarity with data migration, security, and compliance in HR systems.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- People management skills - introducing and building ways in which people can learn from each other, encouraging mentoring and the transfer of knowledge by designing and delivering learning interventions
- Team work and emotional intelligence
- Good self-and-time management – continuous performance is both an objective and a mind-set
- High value on openness and transparency
- Previous experience in the automotive industry or similar sectors is an advantage but not essential.
Experience
- Full system architecture mapping for ‘as is’ HR systems
- Documentation of the data flows between 'as is' systems
- Analysis / comparison of the 'as is' & 'to be' architecture & data flows
- Confirmation of the data integrations required to legacy systems for the 'to-be' architecture
- Experience of implementing SAP is (essential, SAP Success preferable)
- System Analysis for HR related projects (essential)
- System Integration awareness (preferred)
- Must be able work independently with direction from SA Headcount Lead
