Our Team offers you the opportunity to work alongside a group of highly ambitious and knowledgeable people and the freedom to make your own impact. You as our Merchant Onboarding Specialist, Payment Strategy will be driving our customer experience to ensure success.
You will lead the end-to-end onboarding process for new merchants, driving agility and customer satisfaction while balancing internal constraints and competing priorities.
You will build and manage detailed project plans and onboarding timelines, acting as the single point of contact for merchants throughout the onboarding lifecycle.
You will collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Platform and Solutions Engineering to ensure all integration and go-live dependencies are managed effectively.
You will set and manage clear expectations with internal and external stakeholders through proactive communication and regular status updates.
You will own and iterate on the Merchant Onboarding Playbook, continuously improving our best practices, operational frameworks, and learnings.
You will identify risks and blockers early in the onboarding journey and drive swift solutions to keep projects on track.
You will centralize and maintain clear documentation and onboarding assets that are easy for merchants and internal teams to navigate.
You will work closely with the Product team to relay merchant requirements, influence roadmap decisions and improve future onboarding experiences.
You have 3+ years of experience in project or onboarding management, ideally in a fast-paced, complex B2B or fintech environment.
You are highly organized, comfortable in high-pressure environments and can bring structure to ambiguity.
You have experience managing multiple concurrent projects with cross-functional stakeholders, balancing technical complexity with customer-first thinking.
You know how to prioritize in the face of competing demands and can communicate clearly and assertively across all levels of the business.
You bring a strong sense of ownership and a proactive mindset, constantly looking for ways to improve the merchant experience.
You are comfortable using tools such as Jira, Confluence, Figma, or similar, and have a good grasp of API-first integrations.
Experience in payments or SaaS is a strong plus.
PMP or other project management certifications are a plus.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
