What You’ll Do
Utilizing advance knowledge, education, and competency, the Rehab Services Educator and Onboarding Specialist will function in an expanded role within the assigned clinical department(s) in collaboration with the Director/Assistant Director of the Clinical Department(s) and preceptors for new employees ensuring all required educational opportunities occur during the orientation phase. In addition, will assist with the assessment of educational needs of the assigned departmental staff in order to plan, implement, and evaluate educational/orientation opportunities. Assist with the development and/or implementation of system-wide courses, workshops, and in-services. The Rehab Services Educator and Onboarding Specialist promotes and leads by example, the Freeman Health System's Five Star Promise of Compassion, Teamwork, Professionalism, Ownership, and Communication. This position is dedicated to providing rehabilitative education to Freeman Health System and will serve as an Onboarding Specialist and Clinical Educator to the Inpatient Rehab Unit and Acute Care Therapies department.
Requirements:
Current professional license through the Missouri State Board of Healing Arts.
Preferred Requirements:
Three to five years hospital patient care experience.
