We're seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accommodation Onboarding Specialist Intern to join our Accommodation Sales team in Barcelona (Hybrid), reporting to the Sales Manager. 

 
You will play a crucial role for expanding our portfolio of hotel partners and ensuring they are set up for success on our platform. Your primary responsibility will be to support our team, focusing on facilitating the onboarding process to put on sale newly signed hotels. You will create and optimize hotel profiles in our extranet and follow up to accelerate the onboarding process. You will also have the opportunity to support with other tasks of the sales team as you gain experience. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone passionate about the hospitality and tech industries to gain hands-on experience in the operational heart of a major Online Travel Agency (OTA).

What you will do: 

The Role's Key Responsibilities and Tasks

As an eDOer, you will have clear objectives, great challenges and a clear overview of how your work contributes to the global company project and its customers. As an Accommodation Onboarding Specialist Intern in the Accommodation Sales team  you will be in charge of:

 

1. Extranet Content Management & Optimization:

  •  Build comprehensive and appealing hotel profiles from scratch in our extranet.
  •  Accurately upload and configure all essential property details, including room types, rate plans, availability, amenities, and policies.
  •  Curate and upload high-quality images, ensuring they meet our platform's standards and best represent the property.
  •  Set up promotional offers 
  •  Conduct quality checks to ensure all new listings are 100% accurate and complete before going live.

2. Sales Team Support & Lead Generation:

  •  Maintain and update our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system with lead status and contact information.
  •  Desk research potential leads
  •  Collaborate with Sales Contractors to conduct outbound calls to potential partners to secure meetings or follow up on contacts with our Hotel partners
  •  Help on ad hoc projects 

3. Partner Relationship Management:

  •  Maintain clear, professional, and friendly communication with partners throughout the onboarding process.
  • Gather feedback from partners to help our team improve processes and platform features.

 

 

What you need to succeed:

Bring your unique perspective, speak up, and offer disruptive solutions. You'll have the opportunity to learn and grow while making a real impact on our team. Here's what you need to succeed: 

  • Bachelor or Master Degree student (preferably a degree in Hospitality, Tourism, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field).  University Agreement required.
  •  Multilingual profile: fluent English + any other European language (Spanish, French or Italian is a plus).
  •  A confident and professional phone manner with strong interpersonal skills.
  •  Meticulous attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  •  Excellent written and oral communication skills
  •  Client focused and empathetic;
  •  Ability to adapt fast to continuous changes;
  •  Tech-savvy with the ability to learn new software and platforms quickly. Proficiency in Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Slides) or similar (MS Office Suite, specially Excel).
  •  A proactive, self-motivated individual who can manage their time effectively and work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience in the Hotel or Tourism Industry is a plus.
